Hijacked by the Holy Spirit!
This summer while visiting friends I was offered to stay the night two times. "hmmm.... strange", I thought. "I would love to, but why would I? I can go home just fine." So I went on my way with friends, feeling sad to leave, but I had no reason to stay. So off I went, putting reason above a suspicious voice offering me an alternate plan that I just couldn't understand. Well...20 miles down the road, here they come. Flashing red and blues lights. I was being pulled over! My tags expired, and my car now towed. I wish I would've listened to that voice. This is an extreme example of being hijacked, not by the cops, but by Holy Spirit putting ideas in our heads because He is always looking out for us!
Later in the summer, I am again visiting friends again for a week. The Lord said, "Rest and Establishment" over me to receive while there. Oh what a beautiful week of rest with friends. We prayed with a woman on her lunch break from work who had MS. When we prayed, she forgave her abusive father, whom after 30 years was finally able to forgive. Then she felt "something" enter her head, and her body was full of electricity/fire the next 3 days. When we saw her next, she said, "I saw my father and for the first time, I had nothing but love for him." Wow God! She went on to say, she had feeling back in her legs, clarity in her thinking, clear speech, and writing. She knew she was healed!!!! She told her family, all her work, and anyone she saw what God had done! All were skeptical. The next week Michelle went to the doctor. He found no plaque showing on her brain. Her doctor said, SHE WAS TOTALLY HEALED FROM MS!!! Impossible! He asked her what happened or what she did and she told him, "MY DADDY LOVES ME!" That's right! Daddy totally hijacked her and took her to lunch for 1 hour with 4 crazy faith-filled people, and she came out healed!!!!
At the end of the week, getting ready to leave, I went to pack the car, and it was locked with my keys in it. HIJACKED AGAIN!!!! You see, I cannot lock my keys in my car from inside without beeping the doors shut with my keys. It is almost impossible. My friends had even asked me already to stay longer, but I had declined of course to be responsible, though I could've really stayed. So, I went in and told my friends who were so happy I was hijacked that I thought they did it. But no, I believe it was cheeky Holy Spirit or an angel. I would have to at least stay another day.
Within those 24 hours my life took a dramatic turn. The friends I was staying with had invited me to come with them to Amsterdam this season to help them establish prophetic business and arts there. I had a friend in England/Wales inviting me as well. I had been dreaming with the Lord all summer about the next move and this seemed to line up, but up till then I had no money. My friends and I prayed and talked and by that evening I had a ticket. Oh my, Holy Spirit, Daddy, Jesus! You have hijacked me!!!!
HOLY SPIRIT LANDING IN WALES
Now I am in the Netherlands! A girl I am living with is already experiencing much deliverance through the Joy and work of Holy Spirit. And our little town is being highlighted. FREEDOM seems to be the theme! Please pray! I am just keeping my senses tuned in to Him, singing, "Be my guest. Be my guest. Put my service to the test..." Lord, keep us to be sensitive to your desires and willing to be hijacked from our plans and agendas into Yours at a moment’s notice! Amen!
